How I would get there

I would Take advanced math (calculus) and science (physics, chemistry) classes. Participate in STEM clubs, robotics teams, or technology-focused electives (e.g., CAD drafting or shop). Enroll in a 4-year Bachelor of Science program accredited by ABET in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. Study engineering mechanics, materials science, thermodynamics, manufacturing processes, automation, and computer-aided design (CAD). Gain practical experience during college through internships in manufacturing settings. While not always required, passing the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam can lead to becoming a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE). Later, you can earn the Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)
